Sinopsis
En un pueblecito mexicano tiene lugar un enfrentamiento entre un bondadoso sacerdote (John Mills) y un malvado bandido (Bogarde) que se propone dominar el pueblo. El odio a la Iglesia lleva a éste a cometer todo tipo de abusos y tropelías para conseguir que el nuevo clérigo se vaya. Sin embargo, el cura, con su inmensa paciencia y mansedumbre, acaba por redimir al bandido, que recupera la fe en Dios. (FILMAFFINITY)
